Mangaluru, January 2, 2025: A fire broke out in a moving car in the city on Wednesday evening.
The incident involved a Volkswagen car traveling on the road leading to the helipad at Maryhill. The passengers noticed flames coming from the front portion of the car. Acting quickly, the driver stopped the vehicle, and all four occupants exited safely. Local residents attempted to extinguish the fire with water, and personnel from the Kadri fire service soon arrived at the scene to handle the situation. The car’s engine was completely destroyed in the mishap.
