MANGALORE, January 21: Goods worth nearly Rs 10 lakh were gutted in a fire that broke out at Car Décor, a car accessories shop at Falnir in Mangalore on Thursday morning. No one was however hurt in the mishap.

According to Mahesh Hegde, the shop owner, fire which first broke out in the warehouse when the sales staff of the shop turned on the main electric switch, soon spread inside the shop. The fire service personnel who arrived at the spot extinguished the fire. Public too assisted the fire service personnel in shifting the goods out of the shop and putting out the fire.
