Flouting of rules: Udupi DC orders closure of 2 bar and restaurants

Udupi, October 26, 2024: Udupi Deputy Commissioner Dr K Vidyakumari has directed the CMC Commissioner to cancel the permits of two bar and restaurants which were operating by flouting rules in Manipal.

The license of a bar at Ambagilu road in Manipal and a pub on Parkala road will be cancelled as per the DC’s orders.

It may be recalled here that the police raided many bars and pubs which were operating beyond the permissible limits and were organizing parties, fashion shows etc.
