Four alleged drug peddlers arrested in Udupi

Udupi, December 30, 2024: The Udupi Cyber Economic and Narcotic Crime police have arrested four persons allegedly involved in drug peddling.

The police gave the names of the accused as Premnath alias Prem, Revunath, Shailesh, and Prajwal. They were arrested in Neere of Karkala where they had come in a car to sell drugs, said the police.


Drug peddlar


The police recovered 37.27 grams of MDMA worth ₹2 lakh, 1.112 kg of cannabis worth ₹87,000, five mobile phones worth ₹41,000, two weapons, a bag, a car, and a motorcycle.

The police said they are searching for persons who supplied narcotic drugs to the arrested persons.
