Gangolli boat fire: BJP leaders meet CM; seek compensation

Kundapur, Nov 16, 2023: Shivamogga MP B Y Raghavendra, Byndoor MLA Gururaj Shetty and Byndoor BJP unit President Deepak Kumar Shetty met Chief Minister Siddaramaiah in Bengaluru  and requested him to provide compensation to those affected due to the fire in fishing boats in Gangolli on Monday.

It may be recalled here that as many as eight boats were completely damaged while 2 were partially damaged apart from loss of equipment. The BJP leaders appealed to the CM to release a compensation of Rs 10 crores.
