Gerosa school row: MLAs Vedavyas Kamath, Bharath Shetty get anticipatory bail

Mangaluru, Feb 20, 2024: A special court in Bengaluru has granted anticipatory bail to MLAs Vedavyas Kamath and Bharath Shetty in connection with the recent protest in front of the St Gerosa School accusing a teacher of hurting Hindu sentiments.

The criminal case was filed against a few including the MLAs based on the complaint lodged by Gerald Lobo.

Apart from the MLAs, cases were also filed against VHP leader Sharan Pumpwell, Corporators Sandeep and Bharath Kumar.
