Glowing tributes paid to late B Ahmed Haji Mohiudeen at condolence meet

Bantwal, Aug 22, 2020:    A condolence meet was organised at Thumbay College  on August 21, Friday  to offer  homage to   B Ahmed Haji Mohiudeen, the Founder of B.A. Group Thumbay and Mohiudeen Education Trust, Thumbay who passed away recently.

Addressing the meet,  Basti Vaman  Shenoy, Founder President of World Konkani Centre, described late  Ahmed Haji Mohiudeen   as a harbinger of communal harmony who  had evinced great interest in development of Thumbay village.   Along with his business, he also used to think about social welfare and had a great urge  to serve the society, Shenoy said.


He also  recalled his friendship with Ahmed Haji Mohiudeen since 1964 and said he was indeed lucky to have  had him as his friend.

B Abdul Salam, Managing Director of B A Group, Thumbay Moideen, Founder president, Thumbay Group and Gulf Medical University, both sons of late Ahmed Haji Mohiudeen, former minister B Ramanatha Rai, Yenepoya University Chancellor Abdulla Kunhi, former MLC Capt Ganesh Karnik, State President of SDPI Ilyas Muhammed Thumbay and others were present.
