Gokarna Mutt takes out colourful Shobhayatra of Lord Ganesha

Mangaluru, Sep 10, 2016: Shree Gokarna Mutt at Carstreet in the city celebrated Sri Vinayaka Chaturthi with grandeur for five days under the leadership and guidance of Sri Vidyadhiraja Theertha Swamiji, Pontiff of Gokarna Parthagali Jeevottam Bhat.

The idol of Lord Ganesha which was installed in the Mutt as part of the celebrations, was taken out in a colourful Shobhayatra on September 10, Friday and was later immersed in the lake of Shree Mahamaya Temple.

Ganesh Chrutchti who doesn’t love this festival. Lord Ganesha i loved by all. When the month of August Comes the children fly with colours wait fot the festival. Chilren consider Ganapathy as there are movies and animations on about him which give them fun and respect too
