Gold worth Rs 9.6 lakhs seized from Kasargod man at MIA

Mangaluru, April 24, 2021: Gold worth Rs 9.6 lakhs and weighing 196 grams has been seized from a passenger from Kudlu in Kasargod who had arrived by an Air India flight from Dubai on April 23, Friday.
The passenger has been identified as Abdul Rahim Eriyal Jafar. He had hidden the mercury coated gold strips in MP3 player, earphone, kitchenware and gas lighters.
