Green Waves: Coffee painting exhibition by Jane Noronha from June 4

Mangaluru, June 3, 2022: Prasad Art Gallery in the city will host a unique painting exhibition from June 4 Saturday till June 7. Young and promising artist Jane Noronha will be displaying her 20 coffee paintings on wildlife and aquatic animals at the "Green Waves" exhibition at the Gallery. The event has been organised by the Department of Forests.

Coffee as a medium of art is unique and Jane has perfected this art in her own way. A nature enthusiast Jane says the amount collected through sale of her paintings at the exhibition will be gifted to Sahyadri Sanchaya’s Vanachethana programme which aims at educating tribal children.

The exhibition has been organised as part of World Environment Day. Jane says her paintings are based on water creatures, forest and animal themes. A lover of nature, she says she has an admiration for tribal kids.

Jean who had initially used to use water colour medium for her paintings gradually shifted to the coffee medium and has brought out beautiful creations.
