Kasargod, Aug 30, 2022: Heavy rains accompanied by thunder, lightning and strong winds since Monday night  across Kasargod district has caused extensive damage. Houses were damaged at several places.

At Pattanadka Kadappangal of Muliyaru a hill collapsed resulting in damage to a house. Luckily, the occupants of the house escaped unhurt.

A house was damaged even at Kanattur while in Totadamoole a road was washed away due to heavy rains. Extensive damage to crops has also been reported from various places in the district.
