Heavy vehicles banned on old Kulur bridge for 3 days from August 19

Mangaluru, August 16, 2024: The Dakshina Kannada district administration has decided to close the old Kulur bridge for heavy vehicular movement for three days from August 19 to 21 to facilitate the repair works of the bridge.

Heavy vehicles can use the new bridge only from 6 am on August 19 to 3 pm on August 21. During this period heavy vehicles ply two-way in the new bridge.


Kuloor bridge


During this period, heavy vehicles travelling from Udupi towards Kerala should pass through Mulki- Suratkal-MRPL-KPT-Nanthur route.

Decision on further extending the restrictions would be taken later on, the orders of the Deputy Commissioner said.
