Hebri: Youth dies after slipping into Seethanadi river

Hebri, April 27, 2025: A tragic incident occurred in Hebri taluk on April 26, when a young man accidentally slipped and drowned in the Seethanadi River at Thingale.
The deceased has been identified as Sanketh Shetty (24), son of Sudhakar Shetty, a resident of Kinny Gudde, Hebri.
Reports suggest that Sanketh had gone to the river with his friends when he lost his footing and drowned.
Sanketh was employed in the rehabilitation division for persons with disabilities under the Hebri Gram Panchayat and was actively associated with various organisations, including Hebri JCI. He was well known for his ever-smiling nature and friendly attitude toward everyone.
