Hindu Mahasabha State President arrested over threat to leak private info of businessman

Mangaluru, Dec 15, 2022: The Suratkal police have arrested Hindu Mahasabha State President Rajesh Pavitran on the charges of threatening to leak the private information of a businessman on social media if his demand for gold and cash was not yielded to.

 

According to the complainant Suresh, a resident of Kavoor, he and Rajesh Pavitran had decided to do a business in Suratkal on partnership basis. However when Suresh reportedly came to know about Rajesh’s irregularities, he decided to opt out inviting the ire of Rajesh.

It is alleged that Rajesh  took the laptop of Suresh into his custody and has threatened to make public the private information in it if his demand for cash was not fulfilled. He had also threatened to break the limbs of Suresh, the complainant said.

The Suratkal police who arrested the accused on the basis of the complaint, has produced him before the court.
