Hundreds participate in Panambur Beach cleanliness drive

Mangaluru, Sep 17, 2022: Hundreds of volunteers actively took part in a cleanliness drive at the Panambur Beach on September 17, Saturday as part of the Clean Coast- Safe Sea initiative under the Swachha Amrita Mahotsav.
The cleanliness drive which commenced at 7 am was participated by students of various schools and colleges, representatives of different organisations, NMPA authorities, Coast Guard personnel among others.
Dakshina Kannada MP Nalin Kumar Kateel inaugurated the drive. Mayor Jayananda Anchan, Deputy Mayor Poornima, MLA Bharath Shetty, Deputy Commissioner Dr Rajendra K V, MCC Commissioner Akshy Sridhar and others took part in the drive.
