IGP Alok Mohan inaugurates Unity Heath Complex’s Emergency & Day Care centre

Mangalore, Jan 7: Inaugurating the brand new Emergency & Day Care Centre of Unity Health Complex in the hospital premises on Jan 7, Friday, IGP (Western Range) Alok Mohan said that hospitals and the police department shares a very strong relationship, adding that he has not seen a hospital as good as Unity Health Complex even in Bangalore.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Expressing his appreciation of the hospital and its services, he said that the hospital has given commendable service and facilities to patients down the decades, adding that the hospital’s departments are  well equiped and well maintained. Speaking about the rapid development of medical tourism in Karnataka, he said that the entire world will soon look up to Mangalore due to the strong influence of Unity Health Complex. Lauding Unity Health Complex Chairman Mr. Habeeb Rahman for his bold initiatives, he said that the hospital has expensive medical equipment, well-designed infrastructure, in addition to a friendly and homely atmosphere that makes patients feel confortable and happy. Moreover, the hospital has  well trained staff and offers excellent service, he added.

Prof. Dr. M. Rahman, the former vice chancellor of Kannur and Calicut Universities, inaugurated the hospital’s new Operation Theatre Complex and said that the hospital has employed nano technology that has helped in keeping  the surrondings free of bacteria and healthy atmosphere. Stating that the hospital management needs to be congratulated for establishing world class centres and theatres, he urged the hospital’s senior doctors to train its junior doctors well.

Presiding over the event, Dr. C. P. Habeeb Rahman, chairman of the Unity Care and Health Services Ltd., said that the hospital staff is fortunate to have the company of two eminent personalities—IGP Alok Mohan and Dr. M. Abdul Rahiman. He also expressed his happiness over the fact that doctors who joined the hospital in 1978 are still associated with it. Speaking about the various facilities at the hospital, he said that the hospital is well equipped from decades to deal with all the three norms of modern medicine such as diagnosis, emergency management, and surgical procedure. Adding that the hospital’s infrastructure, equipment, and personnel are responsible for its success. The Unity Health Care will develop in other areas of specialisation in a bid to serve society, he added and appealed to the doctors of the hospital to continue their dedicated service.

The MC of the event was Mrs. Sahana, a lecture in Unity Medical College; and the vote of thanks was proposed by Devaraj.
