Mangaluru, May 17, 2024: The Mangaluru Chapter of the Indian National Trust for Art and Cultural Heritage (INTACH), in association with Art Kanara Trust, is organizing "Combing Kudla with Pens and Brushes," an exhibition of drawings and sketches of Mangaluru heritage. The exhibition will be held from May 18 to May 25, 2024, at the Kodialguthu Centre for Art and Culture, G.G. Road, Ballalbagh, Mangaluru. It will be open to visitors between 11 am and 7 pm.

Mullai Muhilan M.P., IAS, Deputy Commissioner of Dakshina Kannada, and Jayanth Kodkani, writer and former Associate Editor of The Times of India, Bengaluru, will grace the inauguration ceremony on Saturday, May 18, at 5:30 pm.

The exhibition will showcase the works of five artists: Harish Kodialbail, Jeevan Salian, Santhosh Andrade, Syed Asif Ali, and Wilson Souza. These works were specially created as part of the "Sketching Heritage" project, launched in September 2022 on the occasion of World River Day, to document and preserve the heritage of Mangaluru. The collection features spot drawings and sketches drawn at over 40 heritage sites and landmarks of Mangaluru.
