Mangaluru, February 27, 2025: Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation Ltd. (IRCTC) is a Central Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Railways, Government of India. IRCTC has been set up as an extended arm of the Indian Railways to upgrade, professionalize, and manage the catering and hospitality services at stations, on trains, and in other locations and to promote Domestic and International tourism. 

IRCTC has been the leader in organizing affordable domestic and international tours over the past several years. IRCTC has been organizing lots of pilgrim tourist trains and Air packages over the years and has been patronized across the length and breadth of the country. IRCTC has opened its Tourism Information & Facilitation Centre at Mangaluru Central Railway Station (MAQ) to facilitate the information dissemination and facilitate booking of these packages. 

Towards providing pilgrim tourists with enhanced facilities, IRCTC has scheduled a Domestic Air Package termed “HOLY KASHI WITH AYODHYA DARSHAN” (SEA49) departing on 15 March 2025 for a period of 5Days/4Nights covering major temples in Varanasi- Prayagraj-Ayodhya.

 
The tour is planned with a group strength of 30 Pax and will have night stays at Varanasi & Ayodhya. The package is of 4N/5D duration and cost starts from Rs. 35,200/ Per Person, and includes

* Air tickets by Economy Class Airlines (Mangalore-Varanasi-Mangalore).
* 03 Nights hotel accommodation (AC rooms) at Varanasi with Breakfast & Dinner.
* 01 Night hotel accommodation (AC rooms) at Ayodhya with Breakfast & Dinner.
* Transfers & sightseeing as per the tour itinerary on SIC basis by AC vehicle.
* Services of tour coordinator at the destination.
* Driver Allowance, Toll, parking and all applicable taxes for the above services.

Apart from the Domestic Air Package to Varanasi, IRCTC is also operating leisure tours to Ooty on weekly departures by train from Mangaluru Central Railway Station.

The weekly rail tour package to Udagamandalam (Ooty) is operated for a duration of 4 Nights/5 Days  departing Mangaluru Central Railway station every Thursday by Train no 22638(West Coast Express) and reaching back Mangaluru Central Railway station every Monday by train no 22637 (West Coast Express). The tour package cost starts from Rs. 8,625/- Per Person and includes the following:

* Onward and return train fare (Mangalore- Coimbatore – Mangalore with 6 berths in 3AC & SL Class respectively.
* Transfers and sightseeing as per the tour itinerary on SIC basis by AC vehicles as per the group size
* 2 nights stay at budget hotel in Ooty with breakfast.
* Driver allowance, toll, parking and all applicable taxes.
