Inaugural mass of Divya Chethana Association held at St Philomena P.U. College, Puttur

Puttur, June 23, 2023: The inaugural Eucharistic Celebration of Divya Chethana Association was held in the Divya Chethana Chapel on 23 June 2023.

 

Very Rev. Fr Lawrence Mascarenhas, The Correspondent of Mai De Deus institutions, The Campus director, Rev. Fr Stany Pinto and Rev. Fr Ashok Rayan Crasta, Principal, St Philomena P.U. College,Puttur, Rev. Fr. Rupesh Raveen Tauro, the warden, were the main celebrants.

Rev. Fr. Rupesh Raveen Tauro, in his sermon, said, "Jesus Christ has come to this world to serve the sinners. As a part of this mission, he went on doing good for the sinners so much that he sacrificed himself on the cross. After he ascended to heaven, this mission was carried on by the Apostles. As Christian, we need to understand the mission and try to fulfill it by serving the neighbour."

The coordinators, Mr Sandesh John Lobo, Mrs Shilpa Emilia Rodrigues, and Ms. Joshila M. Menezes coordinated the mass.
