Mangaluru, April 03, 2023: IDP Education, a global leader in international education services hosted an International Education Fair at, NITTE, Karkala, in association with the prestigious engineering college NMAMIT, affiliated to NITTE deemed to be University. The event saw participation from six universities, with three universities from Australia, one from Canada, one from the USA, and one from the UK.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Australian National University (Australia), Flinders University (Australia), University of Canberra (Australia), University of Chester (UK), Northeastern University (USA) and Cape Breton University (Canada) delegates were present for the fair.

The fair was attended by more than 200 students who interacted with university delegates from the participating countries. The delegates discussed various courses available, scholarships, research collaborations, student exchange programs, faculty exchange, and collaborations. Dr. I. Ramesh Mithanthaya, Vice Principal & Dean (Academics), and Dr. Shrinivasa Rao B.R., Vice Principal & Controller of Examinations, from NMAMIT, had a discussion with the University delegates. Dr. Mithanthaya gave a presentation about NITTE University and discussed the various opportunities available for students.

The event also saw the presence of IDP destination experts for UK, Canada, Australia, Ireland & USA, who provided information and assistance to the students. Offer in Principle and Student Essential Services Desks were also available.

Mr. Bharath G Kumar, Head- The Department of Counselling, Welfare, Training & Placement, Mr. Ankith S Kumar, Counsellor, Ajay Chandran, Branch Manager, IDP Mangalore, and Shijo Mon Yesudhas, Strategic Alliances Manager, IDP Mangalore, were also present at the event.

The International Education Fair was held at Sambhram Hall, NMAMIT, Karkala, and ran from 11.00 AM to 2.00 PM. The event was a great success, providing a platform for students to interact with university delegates and explore various educational opportunities available to them.
