Mangaluru, Dec 16, 2022: An interstate API conference MAPICON 2022 inaugurated in Avishkar hall in Nitte Deemed to be University campus on 16.12.2022. Its a 2 days conference conducted by API Dakshina Kannada chapter and department of Internal Medicine of K.S Hegde Medical Academy (Nitte DU).
Inauguration was done by Prof.Dr.Satheesh Kumar Bhnadary, Vice Chancellor of Nitte DU, Professor Dr. Prakash P.S, Dean KSHEMA was the Chief guest. Dr.Govinda Babu K, Karnataka state API Chairman delivered Dr. Amarnath Hegde Memorial Oration. Prof. Dr. Shantharama Shetty M, Pro-chancellor, Nitte DU delivered Dr. K.P.Ganeshan Memorial oration. Dr. J.P.Alva, Ex.dean, FMMC will deliver Dr.V.V Modi Memorial oration on 17.12.2022. Various resourse persons from Karnataka & Kerala conducted academic programmes.
More than 250 delegates attended different scientific proceedings. Nearly 75 postgraduate students presented their papers and posters. API DK Office bearers Dr.Suresh G, Dr.Shamaprakash K, Dr.Shuaib Ahmed, dept. of Internal Medicine members and postgraduates coordinated the scientific proceedings.
