Udupi, Nov 29, 2022: Noted theatrical personality Jeevanram Sullia has been chosen for the Honorary Doctorate of Karnataka Folklore University for the year 2022.
Jeevanram Sullia has been chosen for this honour in recognition of his yeoman contributions to the field of theatre, yakshagana, music, art and other fields.
The Doctorate will be presented to him during the sixth Convocation of the Karnataka Folklore University at Shiggavi of Haveri district on December 1 by Governor Thawar Chand Gehlot. State Minister for Higher Education Dr Ashwathanarayan C N will be present among others.
