KSRTC Airavatha bus catches fire near Uppinangady; passengers safe

Uppinangady, July 18, 2024: A KSRTC Airavatha bus caught fire near Halegate in Uppinangady on July 18, Thursday morning. Luckily no one was hurt. Locals assisted in dousing the fire.
The bus was on way to Mangaluru from Bengaluru when the AC caught fire. The driver who noticed this immediately stopped the bus and all passengers too got down. Later locals assisted in dousing the fire.
The back portion of the bus has been damaged.
