KSRTC to introduce e-buses; Mangaluru division to get 50 electric buses

Mangaluru, Oct 11, 2022: As many as 350 electric buses would be introduced by the Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation across the state, informed KSRTC Chairman M Chandrappa.

 

 

 

Speaking to reporters here on October 11, Tuesday, he said  Mangaluru division of KSRTC would get 50 electric buses.

There are also plans to have 650 additional buses including 50 Volvo buses, he informed.

Speaking about the Dasara Darshini package which was a big hit, he said similar package tours will be arranged during Deepavali. The Corporation will also think of introducing such package tours during weekends, he said.

The free bus passes to construction workers is for a three month period and the same can be renewed later, he said adding in Mangaluru region, 672 passes have been issued.
