Kadaba: Unruly passenger creates ruckus in KSRTC bus, assaults conductor

Kadaba, August 8, 2024: An unruly passenger who picked up quarrel with a KSRTC bus conductor over change, then created a ruckus by even scratching and injuring the conductor in an overcrowded bus on Tuesday evening. The bus was operating on the Uppinangady-Subrahmanya route when the incident took place.

The bus was nearing Kemmara when the passenger who was reportedly under the influence of alcohol picked up a quarrel. He even damaged the bus windows and scratched the conductor Rafiq in his hands and neck. Later he was handed over to the police after passengers informed the cops.

It is learnt the accused was later released upon signing a bond of good behavior.
