Kadaba / Bantwal, January 3, 2025: Pradeep, a patrol vehicle driver at Kadaba police station, and Muttappa, a staff member from Bantwal police station, have demonstrated extraordinary determination by clearing the Police Sub-Inspector (PSI) examination through self-study, relying solely on mobile resources and without formal coaching.
Pradeep initially passed the exam in 2021 with an impressive 13th rank in Karnataka, while Muttappa also successfully cleared it. However, their recruitment was canceled due to alleged irregularities in the examination process. Unfazed by the setback, both retook the exam and passed again, showcasing resilience and hard work.
Despite their demanding police duties, Pradeep and Muttappa utilized their free time to prepare. They independently gathered study materials and remained focused on their goal, proving that dedication can overcome adversity.
Hailing from Avinamarana village in Holenarasipura, Hassan district, Pradeep is the second of three children and attributes his success to his wife’s unwavering encouragement. Similarly, Muttappa, from Soolebavi village in Hunagunda taluk, Bagalkot district, rose from a challenging background as the fifth son of daily wage laborers to achieve this remarkable success.
Their stories of perseverance and commitment serve as a testament to the power of determination in overcoming obstacles and advancing one’s career.
