Kannada movie Mr. Duplicate to be released in April

Mangalore, Jan 9: A huge crowd gathered on the grounds of St. Aloysius College on Jan 9, Sunday to watch the stunts of Prajwal  Devrajand Diganth, the lead actors of the new Kannada movie Mr. Duplicate starring Diganth, Sheetal Injudhan, and Prajwal Devraj, all set to be released in April.

 

 

 

 

 

Director Kodlu Ramakrishna led a team of 80 members into Mangalore; and the team will visit a number of locations in Mangalore. They will leave for Bekal port on Jan 20.

Kodlu Ramakrishna, who is the producer, director, and storywriter of the movie, told reporters that most of the shooting will be done in Bekal Port, Someshwar Beach, St. Mary’s Island, Suratkal Beach, and Gokarnanatha Temple in Kudroli. He revealed that the film is based on a triangle love story.

Stating that he is happy working with Prajwal Devaraj, Diganth said that his role is that of a sincere college boy and that he does not have to speak as much as he had to during his previous film.

Speaking to presspersons, story-writer, producer and director of the film, Kodlu Ramakrishna, informed that the shooting will be extensively held in Bekal Fort, St Mary’s Island, Someshwar beach, Suratkal beach, and some shots will be recorded at Gokarnanath temple in Kudroli, and also in Bangalore. Revealing the storyline of the movie he said it’s a unique triangular love story. Prajwal Devaraj, who is the “Mr. Duplicate” of the movies, said that this is his first film with Diganth.

Kashyap Dakoju is the producer of the movie; the music is by Manomoorthi; and Suresh Rao is the co-producer. The story is by Dwarki Raghav and the videography is by Naveen Suvarna. Sudha Belavady plays the role of Diganth’s mother. Devraj, the dynamic Kannada hero, who is also Prajwal’s father in real life, is playing the same role in the movie too.

The shooting will be completed in January.
