Karkala: CM Bommai inaugurates Parashurama Theme Park

Karkala, Jan 28, 2023: Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai unveiled the Statue of Parashurama, considered the creator of Tulunadu, during the inaugural of Parashurama Theme Park at Umikal Hill in Bailur of Karkala on January 27, Friday.
The Theme Park has a museum, open air amphitheatre, carvings depicting the life of Parashuram, a Bhajan Mandir, an audio visual gallery and a restaurant.
In his address, the Chief Minister promised a master plan for promotion of tourism of the coast. He also spoke about the ample tourism potential of the coast.
Kannada and Culture Minister V Sunil Kumar who is also the MLA of the constituency, Udupi District in-charge Minister S Angara, Union Minister Shobha Karandlaje, MLAs Raghupathi Bhat, Lalaji Mendon, actor Rishab Shetty of Kantara fame and others were present.
