Mangaluru, Oct 26: Shri Ananthakrishna, the Part-Time, Non-Executive Chairman of the Board of Directors of The Karnataka Bank Limited has retired today. He was associated with the Bank for more than 45 years.
In a farewell function held at Head Office, Mangaluru today, while felicitating him, the Managing Director of the Bank, Shri P Jayarama Bhat, said, “Karnataka Bank has witnessed an all round progress under the stewardship of Shri Ananthakrishna. The Bank has steadily grown under his leadership. While thanking him for his great contribution, we also wish him a peaceful retired life”.
Shri Ananthakrishna, recalled the fond memories he had with the Bank during his long tenure of 45 years and thanked all the concerned for their unstinted support and wished Karnataka Bank greater success in the days to come.
The farewell function was attended by Shri P Jayarama Bhat, MD & CEO of the Bank, Shri Mahabaleshwara M S, CGM, Shri Upendra N Prabhu, Shri Chandrashekar Rao B, and Shri Subhaschandra Puranik, General Managers and other executives from Head Office.
