Kasargod : 4 of family found dead inside car near Koodlu

Kasargod, Jan 29,2013: In a shocking incident, four members of a family including two children hailing from Koodlu were found dead inside a car near Mahipady on January 29, Tuesday.

The incident came to light when the locals who noticed the car parked in the area for quite a long time, grew suspicious and went close by the car.

The deceased are Soni Kuti (46), his wife Theresiamma(39) and their children Jerin (12) and Jewel (10). The children were found dead on the backseat of the car.

If Jerin’s face was completely burnt, some injury marks were found on the neck of Jewel. The children were students of Jai Matha School, Koodlu.

The car was found nearly 15 kms away from the residence of the family. The exact cause of the death is however not yet known. However, investigation by the police revealed blood stains even at their residence.

A post mortem of the bodies will be done at the Kasargod General Hospital. Investigations are in progress.
