Kasargod: KSRTC bus-bike head on collision claims life of Journalist

Kasargod , Apr 04, 2017 : In tragic incident a KSRTC Volvo bus collides head on with the bike killing journalist on April 03 , Monday night in the outskirts of Kasargod.

Mutalib The deceased is identified as Mutalib (42), Chief Reporter of ’Karaval’ evening paper. Mutalib was working as a journalist from past 20 years and also worked in Middle East for some years.

Sources said that Mutalib was on his way back from work a speeding KSRTC Volvo bus plying from opposite direction collided head-on with his bike . Due to the impact of collision Mutalib sustained serious head injuries and breathed his last on the way to Hospital.

Case has been registered in Kasargod police station.

Investigation are in progress.
