Kasargod: Man arrested with 30 kg ganja

Kasargod, January 9, 2025: Bekal Police have arrested a man on the charges of drugs peddling and have seized 30 kg ganja and a car in which he was smuggling drugs.
The arrested man is Basith (35) of Bovikkana. The drugs trafficking came to light when cops who were on duty at Kuniya on the NH on Wednesday night, intercepted the car. While one person managed to flee, another accused was arrested.
The ganja was packed in plastic covers. Further investigations are underway.
