Kasargod: Speeding car falls into open well ; all 4 passengers rescued

Kasargod, May 04, 2022: A car which went out of control of the driver fell into an open well at Poochakkad near Bekal on May 3, Tuesday evening. Luckily all four passengers in the car escaped the jaws of death by a hair’s breadth and were rescued in time by the locals.

The incident took place at around 5 pm. It is learnt, the car was overspeeding resulting in the mishap. Locals who swung into action immediately with the help of the fire service personnel rescued all the four by breaking open the car window panes and the doors.

The passengers were from Uduma. The car was later lifted  from the well with the help of a crane.
