Kasargod: Stones pelted at Netravathi Express

Kasargod, Sep 02, 2023: Some miscreants have stoned the Netravathi Express running between Tiruvananthapuram and Mumbai on September 1, Friday night. The stoning took place between Kumble and Uppala. The door glass of the S2 coach was damaged in the stoning. However no one was injured.
Railway police have visited the spot and Kumble police are investigating the case.
Incidents of pelting stones on trains have taken place in Kannur, Kasargod and other places of the district in the past couple of months.
On August 16, the Vande Bharath train was stoned at Kannur while on August 24 another train was stoned at Talachery.
