Kasargod, February 22, 2025: A woman and her two year child were found dead in a lake of a plantation at Elkana in Perla Ukkinadka on Friday evening.


Mother & daughter drown


The deceased are Parameshwari (42) and her daughter Padmini (2). Parameshwari’s husband Eshwara Naika and another son had gone to attend a function on Friday. When they returned in the evening both mother and daughter were missing. Following a frantic search, the bodies of the two were found in the lake of a plantation.

The exact cause of the death is yet to be known.
