Kundapur, Jan 07, 2023: Kundapur police have arrested two inter-state thieves and have recovered stolen valuables including gold jewellery worth Rs 16 lakh from the duo.
Those arrested are Hashim AH (42) from Kasargod and Aboobakker Siddique (48) from Manjeshwar. They were wanted in connection with the theft in a house at Kundapur in September last year.
The duo had sold the stolen jewellery to a jewellery store at Manjeshwar. The same was recovered by the police.
Police said the two were wanted in connection with thefts not only in other parts of Dakshina Kannada but also in Kerala.
