Bantwal, Sep 20, 2022: A lady passenger has lodged a complaint at the local police station against the conductor of a KSRTC bus operating on the Mangaluru-BC Road route for abusing her over the issue of change.

The woman was travelling from Pumpwell to B C Road in the bus  and had given Rs 106 to the conductor as she did not have change. However, the conductor Raju of Bagalkote  asked her to give the exact change and said passengers who do not have change should not board the bus. The conductor also stopped the bus at Farangipete and reportedly asked the woman to get down.

The woman later lodged a complaint.
