Belthangady, July 27, 2024: Traffic was disrupted on the Charmady Ghat road late night on July 26, Friday after landslide in a hill due to heavy rains.

The incident took place at the 10th curve of the Ghat road. The resultant effect was that several vehicles were stranded right from Charmadi Ghat upto Kottigehara. Later the soil was removed from the road using JCB.
