Mangaluru, Dec 02, 2023: Following confusion regarding recent reports that the pet dog owners must mandatorily secure license for their dogs in the city, the MCC  Commissioner has issued a clarification stating there was no need for any confusion.

He said the MCC has already received many letters seeking information on the issue and added that the process of preparing rules relating to registering dogs is presently in progress and once it is complete, public will be informed through media.

Until then, there is no need to worry or have any confusion regarding the license issue.
