Locals panic as CCTV captures leopard in verandah of house at Perampalli

Manipal, July 27, 2024:  A leopard was spotted on the verandah of a house at Perampalli on Friday night causing panic among locals.

The occupants had heard dogs bark loudly in the night. However they did not open the door out of fear. Later the CCTV footage was examined when the leopard movement was spotted at around 11.25 pm. The leopard has also chased the dog in the area.

Locals were suspecting since some days that a leopard was on the prowl in Manipal, Perampalli areas.
