Bantwal, Jan 04, 2023: Traffic was disrupted on the Maani-Mysuru state highway near Mithur on January 3, Tuesday after a lorry got stuck in the iron barrier on the road.

The container truck was heading towards Mysuru from Mangaluru when it got stuck in the iron barrier. The police registered a case against the driver of the vehicle and took the vehicle into custody.

In order to prevent entry of heavy vehicles at the entry and exit point of railway overpass iron barriers have been installed. Though some vehicles manage to pass through this barrier, some get stuck as in case of the lorry on Tuesday.
