He was addressing reporters at the district office of the BJP on Jan 8, Saturday.

The KIIDC, which has been running under loss for the past 3 years, has recent gotten involved in development projects worth Rs. 45,000 crore, he said, adding that the KIIDC has successfully paid off its debts too.

Releasing a list of 27 development projects undertaken by the KIIDC, some of which are the development of the Tadadi Port, the Devanahalli Business Park, VADA in Bellary, and so on, Mr. Bhat expressed hopes that these projects will be successfully implemented in the near future.
