MRPL launches 108th HiQ brand retail outlet at Puttur bypass

Puttur, July 23, 2024: Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Limited (MRPL) has inaugurated its 108th HiQ brand fuel retail outlet, Maheshwar Petroleum, at Tenkila on the Bypass Road of the Highway in Puttur. This new outlet is set to provide high-quality petrol and diesel to customers at this strategic location.

MRPL, ONGC’s sole refinery, is renowned for offering high-quality fuels that deliver the best mileage. Despite being a late entrant in the retail market, HiQ brand outlets are rapidly expanding in Karnataka, North Kerala, and Tamil Nadu.

The inauguration ceremony was graced by Shri Nalin Kumar Kateel, former MP of DK District, along with various dignitaries and MRPL officials. Shri Ashok Rai, Hon’ble MLA of Puttur, presided over the event. Maheshwar Petroleum is a Dealer Owned Dealer Operated (DODO) retail outlet, exemplifying MRPL’s commitment to expanding its retail footprint.

MRPL, a group company of Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Ltd (ONGC), has been recognized for its innovative practices in refining, receiving the "Best Innovation in Refining" award for two consecutive years from the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, Government of India.
