In his inaugural address, Chief Guest Dr. Randhir Pushpa, Co-founder and Director of ACIES Innovations, said that the Covid pandemic has democratized digital transformation. “If we didn’t have digitalization, the impact of Covid would have been much higher. We should thank Covid because it disrupted the concept of future of work,” he said. He urged the students to read more on the future of work, hybrid working, and metaverses as organizations are transforming themselves into smart organizations, where the work of middle management may be done by artificial intelligence driven machines.

The Guest of Honour, Professor Dato’ Dr. Mohd Razali Bin Agus, Vice-Chancellor of Limkokwing University, Malaysia, shared his views on digital transformation and said that digital technology had strengthened all the work. To stay ahead, today’s leaders need a thorough understanding of the rapid—and sometimes radical—developments that are shaping this transformation. Machine Learning, Blockchain, Artificial Intelligence, Cloud Computing, the Internet of Things, and Cybersecurity are the areas where one should acquire the strategies to respond to the latest developments, he said.

The institute Correspondent Jeevan Das Narayan, former Managing Director, State Bank of Travancore, said people should understand the ethical dimensions of digital transformation and issues like digital Utopia, dystopias need to be academically discussed.
