Belthangady, Dec 21, 2023: A man died after the saw which he was using to cut a tree, accidentally hit his neck at Savya in Belthangady taluk on December 20, Wednesday.

The deceased is Prashanth Poojary (46), a local resident. It is said Prashanth lost balance and fell down while cutting the tree and the saw hit his neck. Though he was immediately rushed to the hospital, his life could not be saved.
