Man electrocuted while plucking arecanuts

Puttur, Dec 26, 2020: A 36 year old man was electrocuted while the pole with an aluminium hook which he used to pluck arecanut came into contact with a high-tension wire, at a plantation in Ajjikallu of Olamogaru village in Puttur taluk on December 25, Friday.
The deceased is Ravindra Poojary, son of Babu Poojary. Ravindra who was employed in a private company in Mangaluru had come home for Christmas holidays when tragedy struck. He is survived by his wife and a one year old child.
