Man in police custody after staging kidnap drama of own son

Mulki, Sep 17, 2022: In a shocking case, Mulki police have detained a man for staging a kidnap drama of his own son. The man identified as Harish is being questioned by the police to know the reason for his  act.

 

The nine year old boy who had been to his school at Karnad had gone missing on Friday giving rise to a panicky situation. Soon rumours were  afloat that the boy has been kidnapped. The police who  gathered that the boy as usual had alighted from the bus at 9 am, later checked the CCTV footage of a nearby shop when they found that the boy’s father had come by an autorickshaw and taken the boy somewhere. Later he had come to school and questioned where his son was. He tried to create a scene and also approached the Mulki station to lodge a  complaint.

The issue resulted in a number of rumours.
