Mangalore Terror trail: Aysha Banu likely to be produced before court today

Mangalore, Nov 13, 2013: It has been reliably learnt that Aysha Banu of Panjimogaru in Mangalore who has been arrested by the Bihar police on the charges of supplying money to terror suspects who carried out the serial blasts at Patna recently, is being interrogated at an undisclosed location in the city.

Sources also said that Aysha’s husband Zubair too is being questioned.

Aysha is likely to be produced before the court in Mangalore on November 13, Wednesday after which the Bihar police will take her to custody and leave for Lakhisarai in Bihar. Aysha was arrested from her house Aysha Manzil at Panjimogaru on November 11, Monday. But, it were not NIA sleuths who arrested her but the Bihar police.

Sources said the Bihar police arrived in Mangalore to nab Aysha based on the revelations made by the five terror suspects arrested from Lakhisarai and Dhanbad.
