Mangalore, May 23, 2013: Thousands of friends, relatives, associates and admirers paid homage to PVS Group Chairman Madhusudan Kushe, who passed away last evening. His family had arranged for paying of last respects at his residence ‘Krishna Kunj’ in Kodialbail, Mangalore from 12:00 noon to 3:00 p.m. today followed by funeral at Boloor Crematorium.
Among the dignitaries who arrived to pay floral tributes were the newly elected MLA J.R. Lobo, Congress leader and former union minister Janardhan Poojary and former MLA N. Yogish Bhat .
Kushe who was one of the city’s most generous philanthropists had touched innumerable lives during his career spanning nearly six decades. He had contributed generously for city improvement. He had also won the hearts of all with his gentle, childlike nature.
After the rituals at his residence, the body was taken to the crematorium in a heavily decorated open carriage. Going by the large number of people who turned up to pay tribute, it was obvious that Kushe is a stalwart who will be missed by the people of Mangalore for a long time.
