Mangalore, Sep 4, 2013 :  An under trial lodged in the District Prison in Mangalore has been  accused of assaulting the jailer on September 3, Tuesday.


sub jail 1The incident occurred on Tuesday morning when  an under trial named Soorya Kumar  was speaking to  another prisoner named Pradeep.


The jailer Vijaykumar Chauhan who noticed this warned Sooryakumar against speaking to Pradeep, who, he said was a goonda. This infuriated Sooryakumar who held the jailer by his collar and pushed him aside.


The Jailer has lodged a complaint at the Barke police station. Sooryakumar had been imprisoned on the charges of  murdering an aged man in Barke police station limits.
